Roam Around Jinhu
The 15.9-kilometer cycling route features the business district and local industries in Jinhu. Visitors can stop by the Agricultural Research Institute, Kinmen County Foresty Research Institute and Livestock Research Institute along the way to earn about local agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry. The route also leads to downtown Shanwai where visitors can appreciate the gorgeous scenery of Taihu and taste some of Shanwai's local delicacies like iced tangyuan, knife-cut noodles and Cantonese Congee.

Agricultural Research Institute
Agricultural Research Institute was relocated to Houlong Research Field, a property of Kinmen Defense Command located between Houlong and Xibien, Jinhu Township. The original site of the institute has been reconstructed as a water plant. The institute now comprises a recreation farm, fruit research area and crop research area.
Ficus Garden
Ficus Garden was originally named Xihong, also known as Fengshan. It was the former residence of Hong Shou, a professor of the national academy in the years of Emperor Jiaqing and Emperor Longqing in Ming dynasty. There is an interesting saying about Ficus Garden. “Out of less than 100 residents there are 36 government officials”. However, due to severe wind damage, only one historic house, Wei Lu remained until today along with several old ficus trees.
Zhongzheng Park
Situated to the South of Xinshi Village, Jinhu Township, the 50-hectare Zhongzheng Park encompasses Taihu and Ficus Garden. A magnificent arch greets visitors to the park at the entrance. On the left of the arch stood a bronze statue of former president Jiang dressed in Chinese tunic suit with a walking stick in his left hand as he waves a military hat with his right hand and smiles.
