Beishan Broadcasting Wall at Beishan Cliff and Mashan Broadcasting and Observation Station were both crucial outposts that made announcements and spread propaganda as a strategy of psychological warfare at the time.
Therefore, the broadcasting stations were frequently targeted in attacks. Hence, the soaring Beishan Broadcasting Wall was built as a defense mechanism that shelters the broadcasting stations within. The hive-like wall consists of 48 speakers that are capable of broadcasting audios farthest to listeners 25 kilometers away. Today, it has become a popular tourist attraction where visitors love taking photos in front of the wall.
