Paradise for twitchers on Little KinmenLieyu is an island, usually known as "Little Kinmen." The only way to get there is by ferry from Kinmen. It has many relics of the Battle of Hujingtou, when the Chinese Communists attacked the island. You can still see tank traps on the beach. You can see many artefacts in the Museum. The trip to Liehu makes an interesting excursion from Kinmen. Twitchers -- that is, enthusiastic bird watchers -- love Little Kinmen for the great variety of bird life.
