◼️It is a classic Kinmenese tunnel.
◼️There are wax figures that simulate past scenarios in the tunnel.
◼️Please make sure to wear a helmet offered at the entrance of the tunnel.

While Zhaishan Tunnel is considered a renowned attraction in Mainland Kinmen, Jiugong Tunnel is the signature landmark in Little Kinmen. It is an underground combat facility built in 1965 to secure military supplies and logistics. Starting from Jiugong Pier, the tunnel stretches through the mountain all the way to Luocou Fishery Harbor.
Jiugong Tunnel
Comprising 5 tunnel networks that connect harbors and 4 estuaries, the spacious and meticulously designed facility can also accommodate 52 yachts. Today, the tension of war is no longer pressing. Wax figures are placed to simulate construction scenarios at the time when the tunnel was built.

    Boat shipment Tunnel in Leiyu

    4 2018-09

This tunnel is built for the protection of shipment to a Leiyu during the 823 War. Smaller boats unloaded goods and supplies from the supplier ship at a safe (out of bombarding region) spot on ocean. Basically, it is a tunnel through a mountain.
