◼️It is linked with General Fortress by a linking passage which is now the Landmine Museum.
◼️There is a public restroom open to general visitors.
◼️It is one of the three fortresses in Lieyu.

Yongshi Fort is a massive fortress of which the only access is through a bridge over the three-meter deep trench heading toward a long slope. Visitors will arrive at the gate of Yongshi Fort after passing through the camouflage netting and multiple outposts which indicate the extreme tension in a time of war.
Yongshi Fort
The fortress comprises two levels. The upper level accommodates the artillery fort, commander’s office and bedrooms. The underground level encompasses eight machine gun forts, four ammunition depots, firefighting water storage and a tank chamber which is the most unique of all.
Yongshi Fort
In addition, there are numerous underground tunnels that lead to crucial underground military facilities. Yongshi Fort is also linked with General Fortress which is also now open to tourists. The linking passage has been reconstructed into a landmine museum.

    The Entrance of Landmine Museum

    4 2018-09

The Yongshi Fort is located in Leiyu. It was a tunnel and now is a landmine museum. Starting from a normal tunnel, and then as you go, displaying different landmines and introducing how to place them in ground. After a landmine bombarding simulation, you are about to exit. Very good experience to learn a lot of landmine knowledge.
