The Guningtou E-Bike Tour route starts here.
Ring the huge Peace Bell.
This was where most of the fighting took place during the famous Guningtou Battle.
The park has a gigantic peace bell made of bombshell fragments. In 2011, Berlin's Volkspark Friedrichshain and Kinmen Peace Memorial Park held a synchronized bell ringing ceremony to honor the peace that now exists in both spots.
There's also a memorial hall where you can see old photos and get background information and details about both the Guningtou Battle and General Hu Lien.

Unnecessary tour stopPeace Memorial Park was one of the uninteresting sights that seemed to be designed to fill in the four hours of the tour. Few military bunkers, some old tanks, and a peace bell were all that was there to see. Rock Oyster Industry Cultural Center seemed like a random museum to be in the middle of this park. All displays were in Chinese, so there wasn’t much for the non-Chinese speaker.
